2021

The design proposal aims to evoke a sense of abnormality within a domestic environment. The stage is able to transform between a physical world that the characters live in and their psychological world.

The wind was chosen as a key element in the play, as it brings back Jason and Medea’s past memory, from which they are running away. It also represents the power of the land and the culture.

​

The lighting design was inspired by the impressionism paintings by Willam Turner, capturing the essence of the power that  colour and lighting intensity has brought to the scene.
